The Practical Exploration On The Construction Of Ecological Community

The construction of ecological community is an effective way to achieve Ideal living environment of sustainable development, and it is also an important component of the strategic goal of the construction of ecological city in our country. This thesis explores the ecological community development objectives and the implementation approach by studying the case of Nantong city communities with the method of theory and empirical research.The thesis includes the following parts:The first part defines the concept of eco-community building and gives domestic and foreign literature review. Based on the definition of the concept, the thesis puts forward a system of ecological community structure, which contains the three indicators systems--the natural environment, social support and community culture, and ten Eco-degrees under the indicators systems. The Second part discusses the history of Nantong Eco community construction, including the goal of Nantong city ecological communities building, the principles of construction, the concrete practice of measures, the preliminary results and the motivating factor for their development. The Third part gives the investigation of ecological Status of Nantong city community, which includes the site visit to three representative communities of old and new, the analysis of the ecological status, the summary of the differences between the overall level and local communities in the ecological status of Nantong city, and the study of their inadequate or weaknesses.The fourth part puts forward the strategic advice for the construction of ecological community of Nantong based on the status quo.The Final part draws the conclusion and the prospects for the construction of ecological community, proving that the eco-community construction is tortuous but still promising.
