Grain shape sorting technology as an advanced process, widely used in environmental re-use, agriculture featured, mining processing and other fields, has a good application prospects and a higher value of the research and it is a useful complement to industrial production. Based on discrete element theory, a compound for enhancing industrial grade dedicated shape sorting equipment was developed. Analyzing the impact of various factors, a technology to improve the efficiency of shape sorting was proposed.First, according to the relevant theory about particle motion and knowledge of the physical separation, a granular fertilizer applied to a special sorting prototype was developed. It was the basement for the compound shape separator system designing.Secondly, using EDEMTM to simulated sorting grain shape, and basing on discrete element method, the material shaft rotational speed, drum inclination, scraper parameters of the prototype was analyzed. And the relevant data was collected.Finally, using VB and PFC3D software on sorting machine visualization of three-dimensional modeling, taking into account when calculating the step-by-step, the insurance factor, such as contact stiffness model of a direct impact on the convergence of factors, in-depth study of particle ontology structure, a prototype separation efficiency and precision of the concept of sorting was proposed.Tablets of the compound of sorting machines, filled a substantial increase in fertilizer quality standards for grain shape of the technology gap, it has a very important practical significance for the improvement of China's national economy.
