With the development of design management theory, fashion design which is a branch of modern design, is becoming better cognitive and comprehended. The profession of design management is becoming an enormous potential market since the significance of fashion style is acknowledged by more and more cloth enterprises all over the world. Regarding the root effect of design management, it is to balance and make full use of the limited available resources, which is extremely required by fashion design. Nowadays, the competition between different brands is becoming more and more intense and violent. Therefore, a scientific and balanced utilization of design resources becomes a significant factor for cloth enterprises to improve existing brands, establish core brands and enhance competitiveness. Under such a background, the cloth enterprises must appreciate the importance of resources integration, as long as they desire to survive and develop. It proves that a most successful enterprise is playing a role as a best resource integrator.Based on a deep research on the resource structure of design management, the paper focuses on the top-level design resources, and discusses the key design resources which are utilized during designing, like information resources, manpower resources, material resources and innovation resources etc. Meanwhile, it also indicates the best way to achieve, manage, control and make use of these resources. And the author is looking forward to providing good ideas for the design manager of the branded fashion enterprise.
