With the development of modern industry on the filter material have become increasingly demanding. While conventional fiber filtration material has a more mature, but its filtering accuracy can not satisfy people's demands. In the past few years, filtered material researchers are interesting in researching of Electro-spun nanofibers used as filterd materials because of its great surface area and porosity, high filtration precision. Nanofiber as filtration materials mainly used in the air filter materials, adsorption filter material, ion exchange filtration materials and antibacterial filter materials. Research of electrostatic spinning nanofiber membrane directly applied in wastewater treatment is rarely reported.In this study, PET nanofibrous membranes were prepared by electrospinning and SEM was used to investigate systematically the influences of polymer concentration, voltage and collecting distance on the fiber morphology. Tensile tester was used to exam the relationship of mechanical property of the membrane and fibre diameter. Glycerol soaked, KES-F8 automatic air-permeability tester, 722 visible-infrared spectrometer were used to determine respectively the influence of fibre diameter and film thickness on permeability, porosity, filter performance of PET electro-spun nanofibrous membranes as filtration material.
