The development of the ceramic coating is one the way on the modern surface engineering research. It is key question that the hot spraying processing technology and the hot spraying material developments.The Al2O3-ZrO2-MgO-CeO2 ceramics coating material is synthesized via co-precipitation method and then the coating is compound by using flame spraying craft in this article. The shape in the powder body and the coating appearance, the organizational structure, the mechanics performance, the corrosion resistance is separately analyzed by the differential thermal analysis (DSC), the laser particle size analyzer (LS-230), the powder characteristic meter (BT-1000), the ZEISS microscope and the X-ray diffraction (XRD), the environment scanning microscope (QUATA-400), the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), the dilatometer measurements (DIL402C). All of these researching is to seek for the better craft of preparing the Al2O3-ZrO2-MgO-CeO2 ceramics coating material with good performance.With the craftwork of'sintering and crushing', the granularity of the ceramic coating powder is keep in the range of 0.4-10μm, and its loose density is improved 15.4%, the tap density is improved 33.3%, the collapse angle and the rest angle both have been improved. The fluidness of the ceramic coating powder can meet the request of the craft of flame spraying.The results of the researching show that the combination between the layer and the basic material is metallurgical bonding. The instrument of the ceramic coating powder is composed ofα-Al2O3,γ-Al2O3, t-PSZ and c-PSZ. With the processing of the flame spraying, instrument of the ceramic coating layer becomes the compose of t-PSZ andγ-Al2O3, that make the layer have the characters of high bond strength(45MPa) and good performance of corrosion-resistant, the corrosion current density is 3.6213×10-5 Amp/cm2.
