According to the theory of mechanochemistry, high energy ball milling was used to treat the glass batch, and the powders were employed briquetting process. The grain size, crystal structure, activation of powers dealt with different ratio of ball and milling time were studied by XRD, DSC-TG, sintering image instrument; the change laws and influence factors of compressive strength were analyzed. The mechanochemical effect of glass batch treated high energy ball milling was investigated by researching the grain size, crystal structure, effective temperature factor and the formed temperature of eutectic mixture.The results of XRD showed that the particle and the grain size refined, the effective temperature factor increased, the non-crystallization tendency of quartz crystal appeared after high energy ball milling, and the new phase Ca2SiO4 with gelation formed.The results of DSC-TG indicated that the formed temperature of eutectic mixture and the decomposition temperature of carbonate decreased obviously with increasing ratio of ball and milling time, the above temperatures decreased from 747.2℃to 635.7℃, from 797.8℃to 676.2℃in this experiment, respectively.The results of the compressive strength test concluded that glass batch treated high energy ball milling had self-adhesion, the compressive strength improved remarkably with the extension of the milling time, its maximum compressive strength was 6.4 MPa.Addition of cullet in glass batch contributed to improving the compressive strength and enhancing the activity of glass batch. In the experiment, the maximum compressive strength was 7.5 MPa, the formed temperature of eutectic mixture decreased from 725.7℃to 615.4℃, the decomposition temperature of carbonate decreased from 751.6℃to 670.2℃. In comparison to glass batch without bullet, the compressive strength increased by about 17.2 %, the maximum reduction value of the formed temperature of eutectic mixture and the decomposition temperature of carbonate were 72.5℃and 47.1℃, respectively.
