Nitrate pollution of groundwater constitutes an important and cosmopolitan envi ronmental problem. The approaches for nitrate removal had a lot of categories:physica 1 methods, chemical methods and biological denitrification. This experiment method will use ion exchange and biological denitrification tec hnology and combinations of two ways. The LSI-106A used experiment resin was p urchased from Xi'an Ian Xiao Technology Co.,Ltd..Experiment definite the LSI-106A resin performance parameters.Under the best operating conditions, inlet concentration of 50mg/L nitrate nitrogen disposed by the resin removal efficiency is 38.4%. selecti ve adsorption of resin is poor, the experimental verificate autotrophic anaerobic bacte ria cultivated by myself, in the static environment, the domestication microorganisms treat 50mg/L of nitrate nitrogen, removal efficiency is more than 90% within 4h;Wh en C:N:S= 2:1:7, pH= 7.0, temperature 30℃, water flow rate of 10ml/min, the biological denitrification efficiency drop to 31.6% after stable operation 100mins.Two independent technology method can not make the 50mg/L nitrate nitrogen reach to the required concentration of the following.Combining the ion exchange resin and biological nitrogen removal technology, and explore its nitrate removal efficiency. The results show that:under the 30℃, w hen in the C:N:S= 2:1:7, pH= 7.0 or so, the flow rate 6BV/hr (10ml/min) cond itions, the ion exchange/biological denitrification combined technology can be superio r to make the low concentration (20mg/L) of nitrate pollution in water samples dow n to 10 mg/L less, required to meet the WHO standard; biological nitrogen/ion Exc hange combined technology, could make the concentration (50 mg/L) of nitrate nitro gen pollution in water samples down to 20 mg/L, satisfy the requirement of Chienes e drinking water concentrations.
