Magnetic levitation enables the globe free of contiguous support, which makes it more like its natural state in the universe.However,to make a general survey of the current magnetic levitation globes, those are vertical magnetic levitation system. From the view of suspension technology, these magnetic levitation globes employ simple single-degree vertical suspension technique, which has a lower level of difficulty. From the view of practical value, these deviate from its usual physical characteristics.This paper designed a novel of the tilting rotary magnetic levitation globe. This system is a highly nonlinear and open-loop unstable system. Finite element method is used to simulate and analyze the magnetic field, which provides reference for the selection and design and performance parameters of the magnetic bearing structure. Combined with the dynamic equation of the system, the theoretical mathematical model of it is given in this paper at the basis of the linearization of the nonlinear system in the vicinity of linear equilibrium position. On this basis the reasonable PID model is designed. The transfer function of hybrid magnetic bearing system stability and dynamic performance is deduced and the simulation of the hybrid magnetic bearings is done so that we get the stable system range of the control parameter. Combined with the features of the hybrid magnetic levitation globe, the precise measurement of displacement of the ball is achieved, compared and selected the high sensitivity mini-hall sensor which is decent for the system. A rotating control circuit is also designed on the assumption of the tilted stable suspended globe. Finally the overall debugging is done and the stable rotary suspension of the globe is realized. Experimental results show that the structure of hybrid magnetic bearing system reduces power consumption, further reduces the size of the system. The research findings of this subject lay an electromagnetic and mechanic foundation for the design of such kind of globe and provide a good reference for the structural design of it.
