Screw drill is a positive displacement down-hole drilling. It is formed by the by-pass value assembly, power section assembly, universal shaft assembly and drive shaft assembly. As improvement of the drilling speed and development of the special process wells, the movement and force from screw drill is more complex. Screw motor is the core components that is the fluid pressure can be converted to mechanical energy. Thereby, the analysis and research of the rotor's profile has important theoretical and practical value.The thesis completes analysis of various profile characteristics and clears the study through the conversion of the curve equation from various profile of screw motor's rotor. The software automatically generated of the rotor's curve is produced based on the analysis and evaluation of geometric parameters. Finally, to establish a sound evaluation system of the rotor's profile. The following major elements:(1) The profile of rotor, the curve equation, the profile generation and the parameters of affecting the profile were studied and discussed. And forming the code program of profile generation of rotor;(2) To familiar with the formation method of the profile's complex vector equation according to the principle and equation of cycloid. And to detail the conversion process from the complex vector equation of the rotor's curve to the parameter equation of a Cartesian coordinate system;(3) To establish the process model of the rotor's profile generation, to analyze and compare the profile parameters of rotor based on MATLAB. And to draw the curve of relationship from these profile parameters and the rotor's heads and equidistant radius coefficient;(4) Having established the GUI of profile generation of rotor in order to avoid user to contact with the complex running program based on Human-Computer Interaction concepts. Only needing to click the controls to complete;(5) Using the optimization toolbox of MATLAB, to optimize the rotor's heads and equidistant radius coefficient. Thus, to establish a sound evaluation system of the parameters of the rotor's profile according to the indexes of the profile's parameters.Through this research, to provide the theoretical basis and principle of parameter selection for the profile design of rotor. It is help for the profile optimization of rotor and the improvement of the overall performance from the screw motor. Therefore, increase the adaptability of screw drill in the actual condition.
