Recently years, tunnel water inrush occurred frequently with the deeper depth of underground mining. Large water inrush most likely caused body injury, submerged underground roadway and damaged machine and equipment, forcing shutdown with resulting of huge economic losses. In our country major accident of mining, water inrush caused economic losses have ranked first. It is important to simulate the underground mine water inrush and study the spread rules and behavioral characteristics. It has important theoretical significance for improving the safety management of water inrush.First, this paper bases on mining engineering, hydrodynamics and computer simulation, studied mechanism of water inrush spreading. At the beginning, introduce the lattice Boltzmann method D2G9 model, boundary processing and mesh generation. A simulation model of water inrush and algorithm were proposed base on LBM. At last, an example of straight tunnel water inrush proved the model is right.Second, in order to solve mesh graduation of complex tunnel and large compute time of mesh grid problems, Sub-block coupling algorithm and parallel computing methods are be introduced to look forward to solving these above problems. By analyzing the tunnel structure found that the tunnel are composed of the basic structure of L and Y type. It is easy to divide the tunnel into blocks by L and Y type and get the rules of data exchange between public edge and public point. A parallel computing method was constructed by lib personal computer cluster to reduce the large computing time. Based on above methods, a sub-block coupling and parallel computing LBM simulation model of water inrush was proposed. An example of water inrush shows the validity of the model. Finally, in order to simulate the spreading of water and silt inrush, a liquid-solid two phases lattice Boltzmann model was proposed. Silt would be washed on the tunnel floor in the process of the spreading of water inrush. When the speed is high, the silt would be bringing to other tunnels. When the speed is slow, the silt would be slow down and precipitate. Based on previous two chapters'research, a liquid-solid two phases lattice Boltzmann method was proposed and validated by a example of water inrush.This paper constructed a lattice Boltzmann model to simulate the spreading of underground water inrush, solved mesh graduation of tunnel and large computation issues and water inrush carrying silt simulation problems. The research of this paper has an important theoretical significance in analyzing the behavior characteristics, controlling water inrush incidents and safety management work.
