Effect by solar, temperature, water or other factors, materials and products will be aged come with discoloration and roughness on the surface, loosing their functions and characters and even loosing their use value when they expose in a nature environment for a long time. According to relevant data, thousands million is lost per year because of various aging on materials, therefore, aging test is the most effective way to justify the characters of materials. This paper will studied on how to choose a proper method and how to select an appropriate basis from thousands standards.This paper has investigated ideas on analyzing factors of solar, temperature and water and introduces the cooperation and affection between chemical and physical aspects. Also this paper gave a brief study on equipments and standards which normally used in laboratory. This research starts from analyzing the real environment of materials and products, also from irradiance, location, climate and weather, using optics chemistry and physics to find out the mechanism of aging, and then find out the main affect factor of aging. Accelerating one or more factors in laboratory and concerning in the expected evaluation of materials and products, gaining the selected method on appearance characters and function of materials. The selection model of aging test is the main purpose of this paper.
