In view of our nation thick and extra-thick coal seam rich in naturalresources,top-coalcaving of fully mechanizedmechanized is applicated more and more widely, in this dissertation, according to local of XieGou Mine in JinXing Group ,basing on close analysis of previous researcher's result ,the laws of strata behavior in the top-coal caving of fully mechanized mining, the laws of roof moving and the etermine of working resistance was research preliminary by using theories analysis, similitude simulated test in laboratory, numerical simulation and other research methods .Firstly, this paper analyzes laws of strata behavior of several operationed mines in similar conditions;secondly, the paper researches the roof caving, the roof moving and abutment pressures distributionby similitude simulated test in laboratory; finally, this paper analysis the roof moving and abutment pressure distribution of working face construction in top-coal caving of fully mechanized mining reproduced by FLAC3D numerical simulation. The results showed that: the strata laws of top-coal caving of fully mechanized mining with the large mining height fully-mechanized characteristics and caving characteristics, but it is different from them. The top-coal caving of fully mechanized minings have large work resistances, the roof first pressure distance is 40~50m,cycle pressure is around 10m,and the whole working face pressure distance have very similar value. The similitude simulated test in laboratory determines the working resistance in the top-coal caving of fully mechanized mining of Xiegou mine 10200KN.Finally, field measurement and analysis research have been actualized combining with the engineer practice, the observation results prove the results correct, and good technical and economical effects are obtained.
