In this thesis, the synthesis and application of strontium tungsten, SrWO4/ZnO composite probed. Micron and nano-scale SrWO4 were successfully synthesizd through the liquid phase synthesis routes such as, chemical deposition, hydrothermal-assisted oil law, biomimetic method, solvothermal reaction. Moreover, the SrWO4/ ZnO nanoparticles were prepared. The photocatalytic activities of as-synthesized strontium tungsten for dye and herbicides were researched.Paper content:1. In this paper, Strontium tungsten nanoparticles were successfully synthesized by chemical precipitation, hydrothermal-assisted oil law and biomimetic method. The as-synthesized products were characterized via X-ray diffraction (XRD), Field emitted scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and TGA. the photocatalytic activities of as-synthesized SrWO4 for methylene blue were researched. The effect conditions on the decolorization rate were discussed. The results shown that the product of hydrothermal synthesis for methylene blue dye has better photocatalytic degradation activity2. Strontium tungsten nanoparticles were successfully synthesized by solvent-thermal method. The as-synthesized products were characterized via X-ray diffraction (XRD), Field emitted scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR). The photocatalytic activities of as-synthesized strontium tungsten for herbicides (Tebuthiuron) were researched. Moreover, the effect of different conditions, which included quantity of catalyst, light source, Fe3+ added and natural zeolite loaded on SrWO4, on decolorization rate of herbicides was investigated. The results showed that both adding Fe3+ in herbicides solution and SrWO4-loaded natural zeolite could improve decolorization rate of herbicides obviously. When Fe3+ concentration was 1.5×10-3 mmol/L, the decolorization rates of herbicides reached 96.2%. When the amount of natural zeolite loaded on SrWO4 was 40%, the decolorization rates of herbicides was 93.3%3. SrWO4/ZnO nano-complexes were successfully prepared by solvothermal reaction. The products were characterized via X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, PL, ICP, TG and FTIR. The photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue in SrWO4/ZnO and photoluminescence properties was studied. The results show that,7% ZnO/SrWO4 complexes, have the best photocatalytic efficiency illumination to methylene blue in the sun light...
