Evaluation And Measures Of Ecotourism Environmental Bearing Capacity In Gongbu Nature Reserve

With the development of tourism from the whole world, expanding in ecotourism was the best choice to convert unsustainable industry into sustainable industry, tourism was a available approach to deal with the contradiction between protect and exploit nature resource. The contradiction became more acute because of the vulnerability of the ecological environment in Tibet, only in developing ecotourism can we improve the environment, on the one hand, it was helpful to recovery and development a good ecological environment, meanwhile, coordinate the relationship between development and protection; on the other hand, it was also useful to renew tourism product and accelerate the development of tourism in Tibet.Comprehensive review about existing research condition on this subject is given from domestic to abroad respectively. The relationship between tourism environmental bearing capacity and tourism is pointed out; meanwhile, the existing problems and shortages currently are listed. More introductions on the concept of tourism environment bearing capacity and every parts of it are also described in detail.Based on the comprehensive analysis of region features, exploitation state and tourism environment system of Gongbu nature reverse, the index system of TEBC in this region is established, which is composed of four parts, resource bearing capacity, ecological environmental bearing capacity, society bearing capacity and economy bearing capacity. Certain calculation model and formula are practiced to calculate TEBC qualitatively and quantitatively on the base of the analysis of whether the relationship between supply and demand is in balance.The most suitable value of ecotourism environmental bearing capacity was 1068 persons per day according to the above result of bearing capacity, meanwhile, resource bearing capacity can be determined by comparing the result of each factor and the method was mentioned in the article. The result of ecotourism environmental bearing capacity was insufficient bearing by evaluating temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of passenger volume, however, the phenomenon of overload bearing was discovered during tourism golden season.The objective of this research on ecotourism environmental bearing capacity was to produce evidence on a short-term protection of ecotourism resource development and a long-term plan, and lay the foundation for the regional tourism and tourism management in the sustainable development in Gongbu nature reserve. It can effectively direct management and plan of tourism area and provide the reference for the research on regional tourism in future.
