Oil Pipeline Leak Detection Based On RFID Technology

The pipeline transportation has become the important means.The more of the pipe and the longer of pipe life span,construetion blemish,corrosion perforation,abruty nature disaster and sabotage,all the above factors may result in pipeline leakage.To ensure the safety of pipeline and minimize the losses caused by leakage accidents,it is significant to study leakage–detecting technology of higher reliability and veraeity.The technology of detection leak on the pipelines can discover pipeline leakage accurately and the position of leakage.The technology will take precaution of oil leakage,reduce to lose,strike the purpose of crude oil stealing action,and decrease waste of manpower and material resource in patrolling the pipelines.Though several leak detecting methods are available,they are not ideal in application scope,inchiding responses speed and accuracy of leak localization.Radio Frequency Identifieation(RFID) is a technology which makes use of RF signals to identify the target and acquire its information automatically.This paper studies the radio frequency identification technology to locate in the pipeline leak detection. But work field environment is very complex,and it is greatly ifluenced by multipath propagation and random noise.So the research on RFID apply to leak detection of 0il Pipeline is of great challenge.This study employed a wide combination of various existed techniques including hydrodnamics,theories of RFID,computing methods of flow transients,leak detection of 0il Pipeline.Utilizing these tools,the leak detection technique in pipelines based on RFID,and the theories and techniques relating with induced response technology are studied.The main researeh contents are as follows:Summary of Oil Pipeline Leak Detection technology development overview and purpose of the study of this topic significance,Combining the actual situation of China's pipeline and currently available a variety of leak detection and location methods,We presented a new radio frequency technology for pipeline inspection concept.Pairs of radio frequency technology was introduced in detail, and the frequency and the decline of radio frequency are analyzed and studied.An overview of the various pipeline fluid numerical method is derived transient equations and oil pipelines pipeline leak point positioning equation.Design pilot program,its software and hardware programs have been designed.Respectively the indoor experiments and field experiments,the experimental results are analyzed compared.
