Two-phase flow includes a great many things. For instance, instability of two-phase flow, pressure drop, liquid holdup, void fraction, two-phase flow pattern and flow regime map and so on. The thesis studys the rules of gas-liquid two-phase flow in upward inclined plexiglass pipes at the several angles through a series of experiments. The experiments were performed in a water-air two-phase system at atmospheric pressure. The flow patterns were mainly identified by visual observation. The length of the experiment section was 8 meters. The pipe diameter was 20 millimeters. The inclined angles were 5°,10°and 25°. The experimental datas were collected real-timely by a computer data acquisition system. In this paper, the flow patterns were determined by the phenomenon of a large number of experimental observations and experimental results. According to the general definition of flow pattern, the paper defined the classification of flow pattern and drew the flow regime map at the inclined angles of 5°,10°,25°along with the graph of the analysis of transition flow regime. At the same time, the paper particularly described the evolution of the flow patterns in the inclined pipes and established the mechanism model of the corresponding flow pattern translation and analyzed the mechanism of the corresponding flow pattern translation. The flow regime map decescribed by the experimental datas was basically the same as the traditional Mandhane's and Branea's flow regime map. As the inclined angle increasing, the paper drawn the following conclusions by comparing the flow pattern boundaries:(1) The needed liquid phase convert velocity of the transition from bubble flow to slug reduced was reductive; (2) The region of the transition from slug flow to annular flow was broader; (3) The gas phase convert velocity of the transition from slug flow to annular flow was increased; (4) The gas phase convert velocity of the transition from wave flow to annular flow was reduced. The calculation for two-phase flow pressure loss has been one of the most basic and important topicses in two-phase studies, at the same time it has been one of the most basic and important items about designing the engineering equipment for the gas-liquid two-phase flow. Therefore the paper finally obtained the formulas to calculate the factor on way resistance of the different flow pattern at the different inclined angles, according to a large number of experimental datas, using SPSS statistical analysis software, combining with Beggs-Brill's method and the mothod of multiple linear regression analysis. The formulas have been proved owning highly accuracy through the test of experimental datas in the lab environment.
