This topic is an engineering application technology in which hydrocyclone separation technology is taken as the theoretical basis. The initial model of separator is founded by using theoretical analysis, and the structure parameters of separator are optimized by means of numerical simulation method. at last, optimal operation parameters of separator are determined by experimental study, and correctness of numerical model selection is further verified. The inverted-cone hydrocyclone which is studied in this topic belongs to a deoiling hydrocyclone, but it is different from the conventional liquid-liquid hydrocyclone used for oil-water separation, the previous normal bi-cone structure which includes a large conical section and a small conical section is changed structurally, while a cylindrical structure in which a inverted cone is included is adopted, and the fluid flow region is a ring.A certain progress has been obtained by people in the application aspects on conventional hydrocyclone used for oil-water separation, but the recognition according to inverted-cone hydrocyclone is very insufficient. This topic will plays a certain promotion function for the study on separation performance and application technology of liquid-liquid hydrocyclone, then widen the diversity and application field of liquid-liquid hydrocyclone, and make a contribution to improve economic benefit of oilfield development.
