Oil mixture distillation column is the complex distillation column which is widespread in petroleum refining industry and petrochemical industry, its complexity is reflected in its structure and materials. Based on the complexity, a development platform of general steady-state mechanism model of oil mixture distillation column is presented to provide the convenience of steady-state simulation of this process and shorten the time of modeling this column.The platform can characterize most of oil mixture whose feature can be reflected by True-boiling Point Curve. A characteristic matrix which represents the features of each tray is generated according to the the configuration of the column. The balance equations are generated according to the matrix, and solved using the FSOLVE function of MATLAB. A correction method of mole weight used in the iteration improves the accuracy of the model.The platform simulates atmospheric column, vacuum column and FCC(Fluidized Catalytic Cracking) fractionator successfully. Through the correction of parameters of models, the results of the simulations show the technology characteristics of these columns faithfully, and the platform is universal and effective on the simulation of the oil mixture distillation columns of different configurations.
