Carbon dioxide is a green house gas which has cause globle climate change. While CO2 gas is a very important resource and can be used for the production of many chemicals. So, various methods to capture and storge CO2 were developed in the past.CO2 adsorption efficiency of an amino modified polyacrylonitrile fiber was studied in the paper. Nitrogen-containing acrylic after absorption of CO2 will form stable structure, and desorption of CO2 by steaming can not work very well; While desorption using the alkali can achieve good results.Various kinds of activated carbon were characterized by N2 adsorption isotherm and X-ray photo-electron spectra (XPS). BET, BJH and DFT methods were employed to fit N2 adsorption isotherm, which shew that PSAC-137 has the largest specific area, largest micro-pore and meso-pore volume, XPS shew that PSAC-137 also has little oxygen-containing groups. Challenging test shew that PSAC-137 can adsorbe more CO2 than other kinds of activated carbon. In this work, two kinds of activated carbon (as-received or pre-treatment by nitric acid) was grafted by ammonia and ethylenediamines solution at the temperature of 300℃,400℃,500℃and 600℃respectively. Challenging tests shew that the activeted carbon grafted by Ethylene diamine at the temperature of 400℃has the better CO2 adsorption capability and the saturated adsorption capability arrives 12.35mg/g..After several times of CO2 adsorption-desorption cycle, adsorption of CO2 by amino-modified activated carbon decay slowly, while PSAC-137 modified at 400℃still keep 80% of CO2 adorption compared to newly prepared sample.
