A test bench of encrypted slurry jet with high Reynolds number and low liquid gas ratio was designed and built. Several cold tests on resistance characteristic of absorption section were taken. Droplet broken and motion activity were shot using digital camera. Theoretical correction coefficients of k′and k′′for spray height were proposed. Numerical simulation on some typical working conditions of gas-liquid two-phase flow was made. Test and analysis show that the pressure drop of the bed increases with the increasing of water jet capacity at the same gas velocity. In the case of the identical quantity of liquid injection, increasing amplitude of pressure drop decreases with the growing gas flow. Under the condition of the same liquid-gas ratio, the increment of nozzle number will cause the droplet number increasing and the diameter of droplet decreasing at special section. Atomization section is formed easily in the condition of lower gas flow. However, the increment of nozzle number will hold back the gas flow. The test results and simulation results are verified to be coincided with each other well.
