Synthesis And Property Study Of The Compounds Of Poly (oxomolybdophosphates) And Vanadium Phosphates

In this paper, the M[P₄Mo₆]₂—SBUs and vanadium phosphate was used as the basicbuilding unit, and seven novel compounds were synthesized. For these compounds, weexplored their structures and studied the synthetic conditions and rules; meanwhile, elementalanalysis, IR, TG, CV, magnetics and single crystal X-ray diffractions were also carried out toanalyze their structures and properties.Firstly, six new polyoxometalate compounds had been synthesized hydrothermally orunder room temperature through the application of the basic building blocks ofM[P₄Mo₆]₂—SBUs. All compounds were shown as follows:{[phen{[Zn(phen)₂]₂(γ-Mo₈O₂₆)} 1(H₂bbi)_3.5Na₃{Mn(H₂O)₃[Mn(P₄Mo₆O₂₆(OH)₅)]₂}·5.5H₂O 2(H₂en)₄{Mn₂(H₂O)₂[Mn(P₄Mo₆O₂₆(OH)₅)₂]·5H₂O 3{(H₂bbi)₅[HP₂Mo₅O₂₃]₂·3H₂O } 4(H₂bbi)_1.5Na₃{ [Fe(P₄Mo₆O₂₆(OH)₅)]₂}·3H₂O 5Na₃{Na₂(H₂O)₃[Fe(P₄Mo₆O₂₆(OH)₅)]₂}·4.5H₂O 6Innovations of compound 1: for the first time, the [γ-Mo8O26] was synthesized under theconditions of normal temperature and pressure. Compound 2 exhibits a one-dimensionalhelical structure constructed from Mn[P₄Mo₆]₂-type SBUs. To our knowledge, extendedframework solids with one-dimensional helical chain that constructed from {P₄Mo₆} unitshave not been reported. Compound 3 consists of a Mn[P4Mo6]2 unit, compared with theknown examples, the Mn[P₄Mo₆]₂-type SBUs in compound 3 reach the maximumcoordination number until now. In compound 4, the structure consists of two [HP₂Mo₅O₂₃]^5-anions, five protonated bbi ligands. The entire structure was connected into athree-dimensional supramolecular network structure by hydrogen bonds. In compound 5, thethree Na ions and Fe[P₄Mo₆]₂-SBUs are linked into one-dimensional chain structure.Compared with compound 5, compound 6 contains more Na ions and its spatial structure isthree-dimensional.Secondly, a new three-dimensional vanadium phosphate by the synergy offive-coordinated and six-coordinated vanadium, had been synthesized hydrothermally.(H₂en)₂{V(H₂O)₂[(V₂O₂)₂(OH)₂(HPO₄)₂(PO₄)₂]₂}·4H₂O 7Compared with other V-P-O systems, large cavity and polynuclear transition metal areco-existed in the new compound, which is rarely reported.
