Based on the method of etching prior austenite grain boundaries of the CFB/M steel, the electrical contact heating technology and high temperature deformation were applied to refine CFB/M steel. Variations of the grain size under different cycle parameters and deformation conditions are investigated. The experimental results show that the CFB/M steel subjected to austenitizing three times to 910-920℃at the rate of 100℃/s and quenching exhibit the best mechanical properties; and dynamic recrystallization tended to occur at a lower strain rate or at a higher deformation temperature, the dynamic recrystallization grain size decreased with the increasing of the strain rate. Austenite grain size within 8-9μm can be obtained by static recrystallization of deformed austenite.
