With the rapid development of ethylene industry and the expansion of ethylerne sets, the feedstock of ethylene has to faced much problems in domestic, for instance, the shortage of feedstock, the poor quality of feedstock and the instability of feedstock origins. All of these make the useage of feedstock become more difficult. The article studied on cracking properties of ethylene feedstocks, optimization of refinery by-product utilization and optimal allocation of integrated ethylene feedstocks. It is baesd on Lanzhou Branch of Petrochina.First it is carried out the research to some conventional feedstocks including naphtha,LGO and LPG from Kelamayi oil field, Yumen oil field, Talimu oil field,, Qinghai oil field,, Kazakhstan oil field,Tuha oil field, and Changqing oil field. The study show that feedstocks from Kelamayi oil field and Tuha oil field are good raw materials, the ethylene yields of those up to about 31%.And it is also carried out the research to some by-products from refinery and petrochemical plants. These by-products include cyc-propane,C4, raffinate, aromatic hydrocarbon raffinate, delayed coking gasoline, etc. The results show that cyc-propane,reforming raffinate and delayed coking gasoline can be used a raw material of ethylene, the ethylene yields of these up to about 34%.Finally, the scheme of Lanzhou branch resources plan is put forward by research of Lanzhou Branch available resources, combined with analysis and study of cracking material properties. This program expand raw materials within the enterprise and optimize use of vinyl materials.vinyl materials make self-sufficiency rate reached 87.31 percent, the ethylene plant achieve to maximize overall economic benefits.
