Relative to traditional solvent-based curing materials, UV curing system does not contain volatile solvents, so all the UV-curable elements become part of cross linked structure when it crues, so, it can be regarded as 100% solids, effectively reducing VOC emissions. In addition, relative to other types of curing materials, radiation curable material is the most remarkable features of fast curing, so it is called 5E-type green material. In this paper, the following UV-curable acrylate containing phosphorus are synthesised:1) Diol diphosphate was prepared from phosphorus oxychloride and diol, then reacted with hydroxyethyl acrylate to synthesize novel UV curable tetrafunctional acrylates containing phosphorus. The structure of products was characterized by 1H-NMR and FT-IR. Compared with TPGDA,TMPTA and PETTA, the products had lower viscosity than PETTA, shorter curing time than TPGDA and TMPTA. Adhesive force increased from 5 grade to 1 grade and shear strength increased from 5 MPa to more than 9.8MPa when the products were used in UV curable systems instead of TPGDA,TMPTA and PETT.2) Diacrylate ethoxy phosphate was prepared from phosphorus oxychloride and hydroxyethyl acrylate(HEA), then reacted with epoxy resin(E-51)to synthesize UV-curable epoxy acrylate containing phosphorus. The optimum reaction condition and ratios of raw materials for two reactions were discussed. In the first reaction, the yield of diacrylate ethoxy phosphate can reach 90% and purity 93.2% in the conditions of the molar ratio of POCl3/HEA 2:1 with triethylamine as absorbent, reaction temperature 60℃~65℃. In the second reaction, the purity of epoxy acrylate containing phosphorus is up to 88% when the ratio of diacrylate ethoxy phosphate/ epoxy resin(E-51)is 2:1 and reaction temperature is 70℃~75℃. The performance of glue prepared by the epoxy acrylate containing phosphorus were also investigated .Compared with glue prepared by epoxy acrylate, it is only 5% of the viscosity, twice the shear strength and adhesion, and its fixation time and volume shrinkage are significantly reduced.3) The tri-functional polyurethane acrylates containing phosphorus were prepared from triethylene glycol phosphate and polyurethane acrylates with isocyanate group which were synthesized by isophorone disocyante, hydoxyethyl acrylate, hydroxyl-terminated polypropylene glycol or poly(1,4-butylene dipate). The Products were characterized by FT-IR and the properties of coatings prepared from the products and tripropylene glycol diacrylate were also investigated. Although the coatings from two products had little different properties, the photopolymerization kinetics studied by FT-IR showed that coatings had high conversion of C=C double bonds and fast photopolymerization rate. The cured films of coatings had good thermal stability and mechanical properties. The residues were more than 7.8% of cured films after 4800C.4) With POCl3,PPG2000 and HEA as metierials, UV curing polyether acrylate containing phosphorus is synthesised. FT-IR spectrum shows the formation of target products to the spectrum of PPG2000. By further experiments of reaction temperature, time and purification process on the yield and purity, the optimum reaction conditions are confirmed. With the modified products by gel experiments, the system containing modified polyether acrylate has the lower viscosity and its adhesion and curing system flying shear strength are greatly improved which are almost equivalent to the films with the same formula of the epoxy acrylic and polyurethane. The performance expanded its scope of application on curing materials.
