In the sheet metal deep drawing, high quality drawing parts need not only reasonable parameters, but also good lubrication measures, some quality defects such as wrinkling, scratching in the forming process are all related to not mastering the friction properties. Sheet deep drawing is a complicated nonlinear problem, and all the forming parameters are mutual coupling. In order to ensure the lubrication condition of the sheet metal, we will choose appropriate stamping parameters.In this paper, flange area of sheet metal was the research object, influence curves and data of each stamping parameters to the forming velocity were obtained through the simulations of deep drawing. On the basis of the numerical analysis, forming laws of the metal in the flange area were induced and derived, and the forming velocity equations of metal in the flange area were obtained.According to the film lubrication theory, lubrication model of the deep drawing was established. In consideration of the influence factors such as stamping speed, BHF (blank holder force) and lubricant viscosity to lubrication performances of the sheet metal, and then combined the parameters in the deep drawing with lubrication equations, the practical state equations of deep drawing were obtained.Based on the equations, lubrication conditions in the flange area of the sheet metal were analyzed, given stamping speed and lubricant viscosity, the corresponding BHF and distribution of oil film were obtained using difference method. Variation laws of the lubrication conditions to lubricant viscosity were obtained through analysis to the process of the sheet drawing, theses provided simple and feasible theoretical basis for determining process parameters in the course of production.Through case analysis, distribution laws of oil film thickness in the flange area of the sheet metal were obtained, compared with the predictive results of the calculation model and proved that this lubrication model could better predict lubrication conditions under the given parameters, and these provided certain reference value for choosing of suitable lubricant in the practical production.
