The different mechanism between water flooding and polymer flooding causes less,more dispersive remaining oil and more complicated oil/water nature which provide less room to exploit it. Therefore, how to quantify the remaining oil,how to describe the characteristics of the remaining oil distribution and how to enhance recovery ratio have been becoming a prime task. Henan Oilfield has entered high water cut stage after the boom period. In order to analyse the water flooding and the characteristics of the remaining oil distribution, it is necessary to employ sealing core drilling to to carry out the technology research of detecting residual oil with sealing core drilling.According to the current status of polymer flooding of the Shuanghe Oilfield, the macroscopic and microscopic methods,sealing core drilling and microscopic flow experiment were studied,from which the distribution of the water saturation and oil saturation were obtained,the watered out reservoir and the distribution of the remaining oil were accurately described;the sorts and ratio of microscopic remaining oil were quantitatively tested,which could provide reference for the further research,while comprehending the mechanism of the polymer flooding. The above research accurately described the distribution characteristic of the remaining oil in this block,further the detectability of the remaining oil,enrich the polymer flooding mechanism and provide more room to exploit the remaining oil.
