As the geological conditions of Haiwaihe Oilfield are complicated, there are principal contradictions such as low level of awareness of reservoir, water flooding regime and the utilization degree of water flooding. The effect of current measures becomes more and more indistinct that it is need to develop a more effective way for field development. Being aimed at the primary problems during the production of Haiwaihe Oilfield, this paper raised a new technical thought of combining movable gel and active water.The profile control and oil displacement technique of moveable gel and active water is a newly developing technology domestic and abroad in recent years. As a transitional technology combined by secondary oil recovery and enhanced oil recovery, it can enhance oil recovery from three aspects: First, use the moveable gel to change the injection profile and seal off the high permeability channels in the formation, so that the subsequent injection water will flow to the low permeability layers and play a role of profile. Second, make full use of the mobility of gel to let it migrate in deep layers to expand the swept volume. At last, inject the active water to reduce interfacial tension between water and oil, increase the capillary number, and improve the development efficiency. It has great effects on improving the contradictions in deep oil layers. This technology has the features of simple process, strong controllability feasible, low input, short period, small risk and wide range of application.First of all, according to the geologic characteristics and oil property of Haiwaihe Oilfield, conduct potential analysis of the practice of the profile control and oil displacement technique on the Haiwaihe Oilfield. Then screen laboratory formula. Based on the principle of risk reduction and insurance of experiment success, select some well groups in representative blocks in the oilfield to carry out field trials. Combine with the actual field production status to adjust formula and injection technology. Profile control and oil displacement test was conducted on nine well groups in the main position of Hai 1 block and the main layers of Hai 31 block in 2007. The effective rate was 100%. The average daily additional oil production is 41.6t. The composite water cut declined by 7% and the interval cumulative additional oil is 12468t. It has acquired well effect of increasing oil and decreasing oil.The launch of the research and trial of profile control and oil displacement technique of moveable gel and active water has provided technical support for post waterflood development of Haiwaihe Oilfield. This technique has attained the advanced level in domestic in the region of waterflooding development of heavy oil reservoir. And it has higher reference value for the exploitation of the same kind of reservoirs.
