Abstract/Summary:
Mannitol, sorbitol and gluconate are widely applied in medicine, food, chemical and other fields. The electrolysis is a method that electrolytic reduction under normal pressure, without special chemical reagents. The method with product is high purity and at a low cost , possess a potential prospect for industrialization. By paired of electrolytic of glucose Gu Dengping synthesized the product of mannitol, sorbitol and glucon, etc, in negative and positive electrode at the same time. The efficiency greatly improving has been reported. However, the conversion rate on the cathode is only 70%, and mannitol production rate was only 20%. The appropriate electrolyte must be joined in the negative and positive electrolyte because the electrolysis reaction depends on the electrolyte mass transfer process. This experiment studied electrolytic synthesis of mannitol and sorbitol in the cathode with the appropriate SPE sandwich electrode, and the result that have a higher yield and current efficiency. The main results as follows.1: several kind of conductive adhesive with excellent performance are prepared successfully and its conductive properties are studied.2: SPE folder membrane composite electrode is made. the Pb electrode is selected as cathode and DSA anode as the anode. Cation exchange membrane used as a homogeneous film clip. Self-made conductive through the adhesive will divide evenly the Yin and Yang and bonded together. Folder membrane electrode is prepared and studied the performance of this folder membrane electrode. New SPE folder membrane electrode technology simpler, easier operation, higher mechanical strength, lower cost electrode and compared with traditional SPE. It makes green out of the laboratory electrochemical industrialization possible.3: By SPE composite electrode as a capsular membrane electrolyzer of cathode and anode will separate the two electrode chamber Indoor electrolytic cathode glucose synthesis sorbitol and mannitol. The optimal condition is self-diaphragm electrolytic cell, the cathode electrolyte solution with glucose concentration of 0.6mol / l glucose, PH = 11, the temperature is 50℃, current density 0.3A/dm2, through consumption of 1.1 times the theoretical capacity, and the optimized conditions, the cathode of the highest conversion rate of glucose conversion rate of 93%. 4: After separation of the product of qualitative tests qualitative characterization has done with infrared spectrometer, polarimeter test, and nuclear magnetic resonance.5: In the classical method based on chemical analysis to verify the reliability of spectrophotometry, spectrophotometric thus established product in real-time monitoring program of reducing sugar content.
