Abstract/Summary:
The solvent-free approach for organic synthesis is simple with amazingversatility. It reduces the use of organic solvents and minimizes the for mation ofother waste. The reactions occur under mild conditions, usually require easier workingprocedures and simpler laboratory apparatus.The main purpose of this thesis is the use of solvent-free approach to synthesize9-aryl-xanthene-1,8-dione derivatives, N-carboxymethylacridine-1,8-dione derivativesand 4-aryl-quinazoline-2,5-dione derivatives. Study on the impact of raw materialfeed ratio, reaction temperature, reaction time, catalyst type and amount of catalyst onthe synthetic reaction, and obtained optimization preparation method which couldenhance reaction rates, use the simple method in reaction process and postprocessing,give cleaner products, increase productivity and reduce pollution.This thesis mainly consists of three parts:In the first part, this thesis utilized solvent-free heating, grinding and microwaveheating method to synthesize 9-aryl-3,3,6,6-tetramethyl-3,4,6,7-tetrahydro-2Hxanthene-1,8(5H,9H)-diones and get optimal conditions, synthesize new compounds9-(5-chloro-2-hydroxyphenyl)-3,3,6,6-tetramethyl-3,4,6,7-tetrahydro-2H-xanthene-1,8(5H,9H)-dione and 9 -(3,5-dibromo-2-hydroxyphenyl) -3,3,6,6 -tetramethyl-3,4,6,7 - tetrahydro-2H-xanthene-1,8(5H,9H)-dione.The second part focused on the synthesis of 2-(9-aryl-3,3,6,6-tetramethyl- 1,8-dioxo-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydroacridin-10(9H)-yl) acetic acids used of solvent-freeheating and microwave heating method, without any catalyst and we have obtainedthe best experimental conditions.In the third part, synthesizing 4-aryl-7,7-dimethyl-3,4,7,8-tetrahydroquinazoline-2,5(1H,6H)-diones by the microwave heating method, with the cheap, reusablecatalysts which can be simply disposed in order to obtain optimization preparationmethod.
