Monodisperse micrometer polystyrene particles (from 300nm to 2000nm) were prepared by emulsion polymerization and dispersion polymerization. The factors that may affect the assembly of the polystyrene particles, including the particle concentration, ethanol/water proportion, were investigated. An array structure of polystyrene micro-beads on an indium-doped tin oxide (ITO) electrode was prepared by film transfer technique. Micro-cavities of tungsten trioxide (WO3) were fabricated on an indium-doped tin oxide electrode by electrodeposition. With the verge of the nanocavities modified with chemical method, silver particles were electrochemically deposited in nanocavities.Stable and uniform-sized gold colloid has been prepared and formed two-dimensional self-assembly on ITO, the ITO was used as work-electrode. Research the electrochemical behaviors of DA on the modified ITO,find that the gold-modified ITO can catalyze DA well, and achieve the separation of DA and AA's oxidation peaks avoiding the undesirable disturbance of AA.
