Mesoporous silica (MS) is a kind of new and potential materials in adsorption, separation and molecule catalyse. Based on the properties of mesoporous silica, MS microsphere with about 3.5 nm pore size were synthesized by n-hexadecylaminne and TEOS in definite experimental conditions. To facilitate the incorporation of foaming agent OBSH, an approach for three-ingredient salt impregnating was proposed for expanding the pore size of sphere with large extent. To study the effect of concentration of salt solution on reaming effect, different salt solution was prepared. The foaming agent OBSH within the pores of MS microsphere were synthesized by dipping method. The composite was characterized by means of solid state NMR,IR,TG-DSC. The organic-inorganic composite was used as foaming agent of microporous foaming plastic. The pore size of foaming plastic is smaller than 50μm, closed cellular foam of uniform pore size was obtained at last, showing that OBSH/SiO2 composite is much better than pure OBSH. Silane coupling agent (KH570) is selected as the best optimal surface treament agent, the influnce of the factors (the content of silane coupling agent and time) on the surface modification are studied.
