The object of this study wetland esources for Ebinur Lake basin. Through and remote sensing, and other office software, interpretation in a total of three of the TM and ETM imagery, and extract the lake basin, wetland resource information. More comprehensive understanding of the lake basin, an area of wetland resources status, functional characteristics and value of wetland benefits, protection for the lake basin, in particular the protection of wetlands to provide scientific basis to decision-making.Take the resources of the Ebinur lake basin as the object , interpret the TM and ETM image of 1990,1999 and 2008 by field survey and data collection combine with remote sensing and other office software, At last , we extract the wetland resource information Ebinur lake basin. By this way, we can understand the area status of wetland resources, characteristics of its function and value of the wetland benefits comprehensively, and, provide scientificbasis for protection of Ebinur lake basin and wetland especially. The results show that:(1)The wetland area proportion of the 1990, 1999 and 2008 are 13.965%, 13.858% and 9.972% respectively, between 11% to 15%.Others are non-wetland types. In the proportion of the total area of wetlands, the area of natural wetlands account for the largest part. In 2008, proportion of natural wetlands and constructed wetlands are 95.67% and 4.5238% of the total respectively.(2)There have little change of the total area of wetlands between 1990 and 1999, only a decrease of 0.107 percentage points. However, the total wetlands area in 2008 reduced greatly, there has a reduction of 1901.4732km2,compare with the year of 1990, the average annual reduction is 105.6374km2, and annual decline rate of is 1.8535 percent, indicating that the shrinkage of wetlands at a speed rate from 1999 to 2008. (3) From 1990 to 2008, wetlands and between wetlands and non-wetlands in the transfer matrix between the drastic changes have taken place to promote the growth of various types of land and die. From 1990 to 2008, the growth pattern and structural demise of a list of terms: each new total area of wetland 1995.67km2, the demise of the total wetland area 3991.45km2, note inside 1995.78km2 watershed area of wetland conversion for non-wetlands. The area of remain unchanged throughout the basin's is 39458.26km2, accounting for basin 82.8551 percent, a larger proportion.(4) Wetlands in Ebinur Lake basin,the total value of 1990, 1999 and 2008, respectively, is 107.414 billion yuan, 106.081 billion yuan, 80.572 billion yuan, from 1999 to 2008, large reductions. The maintain existing ecosystems and to prevent erosion of the value of the forces of nature in which the proportion of the total value of wetlands larger its 1990 value in 1999 and 2008 were 99.756 billion yuan, 97.567 billion yuan, 71.234 billion yuan.
