Cold rolled stip steel production process technology is short, product quality,at home and abroad are more and more attention.As a core component of cold rolling mill, cold rolling roll in the production plays an extremely important role. Rolling process, the cold roll in complex environments work, and shape factors and surface state were changed, except normal wear and tear rolling, is mainly a premature fatigue crack and failure, it is great proportion in production. Roll is expensive, if its early failure, will increase production costs, so roll research have very important significance.This paper based on the research to practice for the study of roll, rolling on the roller-depth analysis of process; and general software ANSYS finite element applied to the rolling process, the simulation of steady state rolling roll. at the same time to identify areas of stress concentration rollers; according to the characteristics of strip cold rolling using the ANSYS finite element nonlinear dynamic analysis module, to simulate the process of rolling the obtained steady-state rolling roll, strip on the rolling force distribution; by the roll manufacturing processes, materials, surface processing, rolling system, lubrication and roller grinding technology, the full analysis of roll Cracks, and for all kinds of cracks with the necessary treatment measures; from metal fatigue cumulative damage theory and fracture mechanics theory, research roller fatigue crack formation and extension of life rules, and apply to cold roll fatigue life prediction model; for roller fatigue cracks, we proposed a series to extend the service life of roll method, to improve roll life, cost to provide certain technical information.
