The nozzle is an important part in the high pressure water jet equipment.Its quality influences other parts in the systemFor researching on the influence of a nozzle geometric parameters on the property of efflux flow field,,the article use the basic knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics to give the pre-processing according to the order, the modeling,meshing,boundary and initial conditions and the solution control setting were detailed illustrated in this paper firstly. The pressure and velocity in the flow field of high pressure water jet as two-phase flow were numerically simulated an analyzed by the software-FLUENT. The article is under the circumstance of an identical boundary condition and initial condition,change respectively the contraction angle of conic segment,the diameter of nozzle exit, the length of nozzle and the length diameter ratio of cylindrical segment exit,the numerical simulation and analysis were carried out on the speed attenuation characteristics of two kinds of nozzles efflux by using two-phase flow field of high pressure water jet of FLUENT software.At last, the optimum structural parameter about two kinds of nozzle has been acquired.Eventually the achievement and shortcoming in this paper were summed up. At the same time,the author took an outlook for the future research.The results of the paper will present useful tool for the designing and optimization of the configuration of high pressure water jet cleaning nozzles.
