The embedded CNC system of unify interpolation for conic curve based on the embedded computer PC104 and the operating system RTLinux whose features are real-time and multi-task.For the CNC system possess modular structure, interoperability and uniformity inorder to develop the uniform interpolation algorithm and the unified graphical user interface.B-spline curve is fitted by the conic curve through partition-merge methods to realize unify interpolation under the allowance error. NC tool-path simulation software is showed by OpenGL and VC++ based on approximating arithmetic. The thesis includes several parts as below:(1) This paper briefly illustrates the general situation of the CNC technology. It summarizes the history and the current situation of CNC technology and analyzes the trends of CNC technology based on referring a large number of articles. The definition and important features of embedded systems are given in this article. Some of the key interpolation techniques for numerical control are disscused.(2) The building of the hardware platform of CNC system is completed. PCM3370 is chosen as the CPU control panel in view of fully studying hardware components and features of PC104 bus. The software modules of the CNC system are analyzed. At last, the implementation process of embedded GUI is completed based on Qt.Interpolation is the core of the CNC system. The decoding process of ISO code and point-by-point comparision interpolation technique is studied. The difference interpolation theory and algorithm are given based on the definition of the difference. At last the diagram of the conic curve unify interpolation algorithm and its realization are finished.(3) According to the properties of B-spline curve, it is fitted by conic curve in order to realize the uniform interpolation of the NC system based on partition-merge idea.(4) Simulation platform of the NC maching tool-path is completed by using OpenGL and Visual C++ with rotation, zooming, translation and other graphical features.
