Iron and steel industry due to increased demand for coking coal. Therefore coking industry developed rapidly and contributed to the large scale trend of coking facilities..Stamping charging car is one of the key equipment, which have a major impact on the stamping coking technology. Its main function is tamping and coal loading two conditions. Stamping load is active load in tamping condition, which is the equipment structure design basis. At present, the tamping load value and transmission mechanism in tamping condition does not in-depth, systematic study yet in China, meanwhile, the areas of foreign literature is rare. So stamping charging car in the design of large scale can only take the experience stamping load, as load uncertainty, structural analysis is not accurate, the equipment is more and more weight. It has a serious impact on development of stamping coking technology.Briquettes will have a vertical pressure on slot floor and horizontal pressure on sidewall in tamping condition. As the coal-bearing area of sidewall is larger, lateral loads have even more important effect on the structure.To study the load value and distribution in tamping condition, research 5.5 meters stamping charging car which designed and manufactured by a heavy machinery manufacturing company. Pressure sensors arranged in sidewall at different height to carry out load test directly, get time-varying pressure curve at each test point.By analyzing the pressure curves of different points and pressure distribution and variation, proposed the"three folded line"and"double uniformly distributed"sidewall pressure distribution models for the structure design and calculation.Calibration experiments carried out to test the strain of the sidewall structure and support hinge ear, then calculate the stress. According to the experiment data and pressure distribution model, analyze the structural stress by ANSYS finite element software. Finite element analysis results are compared with experimental results, drawn hinge ear reaction curve of different height in tamping conditions, the measured value and finite element values are in good agreement with the same value, indicating a reasonable model.Supporting truss structure and sidewall structure has been improved so that the structure is more reasonable to reduce the structural weight, improve lateral stiffness, reduces the displacement. The improvement program has some reference value of structure design.
