Welding, as a significant hot working process, plays a unique role in industries."High quality, low cost, automation"will become the frontier and hotspot of development on welding. Flux-cored wire, the fourth welding material, has the advantages of high efficiency, high quality and generally low cost. So, it is important to study the process of flux-cored wire.The arc and spectrum detection is an effective method with abundant information, high sensibility, rapid response, high capacity of resisting disturbance. Because the changes of arc signal is directly related to practical physics process, there will be an overall outcome to integrate the spectrum information with the electricity signals. Based on the voltage, current, spectrum as the information sources, this paper has developed a system to collect signals, deal with signals and access information with Labview. Synchronism collection is achieved to collect the electricity and spectrum information synchronously, and the information can be showed simultaneously.With the analysis of radiation theory and distribution feature of the arc plasma,the spectrum composition of DW-100,K-71TLF,SQA309L,WH-50-6 is identified through the analysis of mechanism of arc plasma spectrum and the identification of collected CO2 gas shield welding. The wires spectrums are compared and analyzed.In the experiment, the messages of two sets of flux-cored wire are collected synchronously at different variables with the collection and analysis system based on Labview. Meanwhile the results are analyzed, and combined with the spectrum and the condition of electricity signals three types of transition are analyzed, such as short-circuit transition, elimination transition, fine-particle transition. Based on the analysis of spectrums and electricity signals, it is found that short-circuit transition points sprawled out in the figure of electricity and spectral intensity. The rules are attained between the spectrum and electricity signals. The spectral intensity is determined by both voltage and current, thus increasing with the voltage and current increase. The relationship between the changes of spectral intensity and the transition condition is analyzed at different spectral coverage. The radiant intensity of fused drop growing process is obvious in infrared band, and fused drop transition process in ultraviolet band.
