China has become the largest country of dye manufacturing and textile printing and dyeing with annual direct emissions of the printing and dyeing wastewater for 1.5×103t, and the emissions annually was increasing at a rate of 1%. Printing and dyeing wastewater has been recognized as difficult to deal with polluted waters because of its large color, high content of organic, poor biodegradability,as well as variation in pH and other characteristics.Treatment of it has been included as an important environmental protection work in china.The studies of its large color and high content of organic to its bleaching properties have been the most difficult issue, but also first problem that need to solve.Current research for organic flocculant flocculation process of decolorization is mainly explained by the flocculation mechanism of DLVO in colloidal systems theory. There are some limitations of this interpretation that can not be a clear picture of flocculation decolorization process. Therefore,in this paper,lab-made amphoteric polymeric flocculant pDMDAAC-FA was conducted flocculation decolorization experiments on in simulated wastewater, and analyze the effect of the molecular structure of the flocculant and dye to decolorization properties;and flocculation decolorization of dyeing wastewater has been conducted preliminary. Mainly carried out the following aspects of the study:1. Simulated dyeing wastewater was conducted on equilibrium dialysis experiments from the process of quantitative analysis of thermodynamics to the process of decolorization flocculation. To determine the feasibility of pDMDAAC-FA to decolorization of simulated dyeing wastewater WhenΔG≤0;and to analyze the process of flocculant decolorization and mechanism of pDMDAAC-FA to dye molecules fromΔH andΔS, there can be applied to do the implementation of guidance for the actual production;2. Hydrophobic interaction between flocculant and dye was destructed by adding urea or methanol in bonding system, that prove:the bonding process between polymers and dye molecules have the existence of electrostatic interaction and hydrophobic interaction;3. Different pH of dye solution will affect the decolorization effect of gender Flocculant. By comparing different effects of decolorization of pDMDAAC-FA and Acid Red B, Basic Green4, the results obtained gender flocculant interaction energy of the dominant and decolorization best under acidic conditions;4. There are wider applicability of gender organic flocculants pDMDAAC-FA on treatment pH of the printing and dyeing wastewater. when the printing and dyeing wastewater is acidic or neutral, the decolorization rate was higher than treatment of the alkaline waste water treatment. In particular, it is neutral, the decolorization rate as high as 95%; the dosage of pDMDAAC-FA will affect the removal of the decolorization rate. When the pH=7, the dosage of 80mg/L,the decolorization rate can be up to 91%.
