With the development of manufacturing technology, the requirements of the production process continuously improve, especially in resource and environmental, require machining process more efficient, precise, clean, and saving resources. High-precision CNC machine tools in the field of high-efficiency machining has played in an important role, especially high-grade CNC machine tools with multi-axis and can process complex parts ,become a competitive high ground. The parallel kinematics machine tool bases on the space of mechanism, by utilizing the potential of computer numerical control fully, can achieve space complex motion, meet requirements of processing of multi-degree freedom, become the leader of machine tool with multi-axis and can process complex parts. Belt grinding , called "universal grinding" , a new grinding process,has been used for the heavy grind field with dry grinding, high speed, big cutting, and high-precision parts grinding. In this paper, the parallel kinematics machine tools and belt grinding process become united.,carried out exploratory research in the high-precision machine tool.In the paper, complete the conceptual design and analysis of Parallel Kinematics -Belt Grinder with the screw theory, by restricting the range of processing, degree of freedom and branched-chain structure of the Parallel Kinematics -Belt Grinder to fix, and verify degrees of freedom; with knowledge of spatial mechanism , give displacement analysis of the Parallel Kinematics -Belt Grinder, including formulas about the direct problem and inverse problem; Deduce the singularity equations of Parallel Kinematics -Belt Grinder, through rational structural design, avoid singularity come out in the working place effectively, ensure the stability of Parallel Kinematics -Belt Grinder in work; Using the space searching, draw out the largest working space of Parallel Kinematics -Belt Grinder, provide the theoretical basis for choice about working space; Base on displacement analysis, obtain influence coefficient about velocity and acceleration by direct derivation ; According to Lagrange equation and the principle of virtual work,establish kinematics equations of Parallel Kinematics -Belt Grinder. In simulation, with ADAMS and UG software, establish a visual Parallel Kinematics -Belt Grinder, and carry out the kinematics and dynamics simulation by ADAMS software, perfect and optimize the design of Parallel Kinematics -Belt Grinder.In this paper, structural design of Parallel Kinematics -Belt Grinder is researched, laid a solid foundation for the overall design of Parallel Kinematics -Belt Grinder, provide a basis for others design.
