This thesis bases on the project of national environmental protection department "The assessment of environmental security and the countermeasures after Wenchuan Earthquake",I have found out that the distribution characteristics of heavy metals which in the main channel,the soil,and stream sediment of Fujiang River,I also found out the migration transformation rules of heavy metal element ,and made the initial appraisal of the heavy metal element pollution.Based on these results I have obtained achievement and understanding as follows:(1)The water of Fujiang River has the fluctuating characteristics of high points and low points in the spatial distribution of heavy metals in water. On one hand it shows a certain self-purification capacity of mainstream, and on the other hand it shows the human factor and seismic factors that had made Fujiang River with local high concentrations of heavy metals.(2) In soil, the heavy elements change gradually and has the gradual direction of reducing to the downstream.Both in downstream of the town of Pingwu-Kuodai and Jiangyou Wu cited have a abnormally high content of Hg. Pb, As, Cd are also abnormally high in the southern of Pingwu.(3)In sediments, Zn, V, Cr, Cd, Hg, Ni, As, Cu, Pb in Kuodai of Pingwu are abnormally high. At the same time, Pb, Zn in Jiangyou Wu cited the Agency are also extremely high, Cd, Ni, Cu, V, Zn in the Shehong- Guang Xing are also extremely high.(4)Initially identified sources of pollution, from correlation analysis and factor analysis results, the Fujiang River main heavy metal is the human factor and the natural factor common result, Hg mainly stems from the human factor. Heavy metals in sediments were positively correlated with and then shows the heavy metals in stream sediments have enriched.(5) From the potential ecological harm index evaluation result, soil and sediments in the trunk FuJiang belong to a week-medium degree in the heavy metal pollution. Soil quality conforms to the national standard of soil environmental quality(secondary) , and does not affect crop, but in some individual places Hg and Cd pollutions are more serious, have reached medium-serious pollution. Water conforms to the national agricultural water area and the general standard of waters landscape request.
