Nanomaterials with their unique characteristics play a significant irresponsibility in the development of science and technology which opened up a whole new field in both new and high technology industries. Owing to those, the investigation of metallic nanomaterials cannot be ignored. Copper as a very widely used metallic material in the field of nanomaterials receipted extensively attentions with its unique character and low cost. In this paper, we have synthesized copper and copper-based composite with different precursor such as CuO, [Cu(NH3)4]2+, CuoD patterns show that the samples are Cu/Cu2O composite. The SEM image reveals that they are octahedral nanocages with uniform size of 200nm. The influence of reaction parameters on the formation of the special nanostructures were investigated in details. The UV-vis pattern deduces that the products have absorption peaks at 500nm and 600nm which illustrated their activity. They can be used as catalyst to decompose organic fuel Rhodamine B.When ammonia was used to form the precursors of [Cu(NH3)4]2+ Cu2(OH)2SO4, the results of SEM demonstrated that the shape of the samples are irregular which size of 200-500nm. It reveals that different precursors drastically influence the shape of samples. At room temperature, copper nanoparticles were prepared under different adding order of agents. The results of XRD and SEM indicated that samples by single-drop strategy are very purity and their shape is quasi-spherical with size of 200-500nm, and those of double-drops are irregular nanoparticles. It suggests that different adding order of agents affects the purity and the shape of shapes.
