With the implementation of the strategy of sustainable development, the resource, energy and environment problems are the key elements to the development of cement industry. How to solve this problem is a very important significance issue. The use of cement grinding aids is considered to be an efficiency method to solve these questions without replacing of equipments. In this paper, cement grinding aids were studied, as follows:In this paper, ethylene glycol, triethanolamine, triisopanolamine and calcium lignosulphonate are used as grinding aids. Fly ash and slag are selected for active composite material. Ground material and grinding aids are ground together in the mill. The main conclusion is as follow:First of all, grinding effect of every monomer grinding aids with different content on Portland cement is tested. The effect on the properties of Portland cement is also tested. The result shows that the monomer grinding aids has good grinding effect and has no bad effect on water requirement of normal consistency and mortar flow rate. Besides they all can increase the compressive strength, but they all have an adverse effect on the shrinkage of cement. On the basis, composite grinding aids'was studied. Different proportions of it have different effect on Portland cement, but they all have some grinding effect. According to the regulations, composite grinding aids almost have no adverse effect on the basic prosperities of cement.Secondly, grinding effect of every monomer grinding aids with fixed content on fly ash cement and slag cement is tested. The effect on the properties of fly ash cement and slag cement is also tested. The result shows that:triethanolamine and triisopanolamine has good grinding effect on both of the cements and calcium lignosulphonate has good grinding effect on slag cement, but ethylene glycol has almost no grinding effect on it. These several grinding aids all have a good adaptability to the two types of cement.Thirdly, the effect of hydration with grinding aids is tested by Chemically combined water and XRD which also can explain the grinding mechanism. By the XRD analysis it indicates that grinding aids doesn't modify the cement hydration products, meanwhile the amount of hydration products increases.Lastly, by the research of compatibility between four kinds cement filled with grinding aids and admixture, it indicates that cement with grinding aids can adapt additives well.
