With the rapid development of industrial and the Rapid Growth of Urbanization, there are more and more industrial and urban sewages are generated. But because of the low treatment rate of the sewage, especially that of the sewage containing toxic organic pollutants, conventional and traditional degradation methods cannot meet the non-toxic and harmless standard, leading to great harmful impact on people's health. The phenol as important industrial raw materials, with high levels of toxicity, has strong anti-degradation ability. Phenol was a kind of organism very difficult to be degraded. Traditional physical and chemical methods do not work on it. They all have series of similar problems such as long cycle, low rate of the degraded and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to find effective methods and techniques to solve these problems.Recently, ultrasound and photo catalytic oxidation technology in environmental protection using the semiconductor TiO2 as a photo catalyst attract widespread concern. Compare with other methods, it rarely produces secondary pollution and can change most compounds, which can not be depredated efficiently by biological methods, into harmless substance such as CO2, H2O. Now it is hot in sewage disposal territory.Ultrasonic oxidation, electrochemical oxidation processes and UV catalytic processes belong to the advanced oxidation process. Many researchers found it is not ideal to use these processes alone to depredate phenol and other organic pollutants. However, the degradation effect could be even better if several processes were used in combination. Therefore, this work is to find the best way how ultrasound, photo catalysis and the, electric field work together for phenol degradation. In this paper, I have completed my research in the following areas:1. TiO2 thin film electrodes were prepared by dip-coating technique. Using the porous nickel based TiO2 thin film electrode was used as working electrode.2. In the self-made reactor of multi-energy fields, degradation efficiency and rule of 10mg/L concentration of phenol by physical energy fields'action were studied preliminarily. The phenol degradation rate of ultrasound, electric field and ultraviolet photo catalysis was very low.3. Efforts were made to find the best way how ultrasound, photo catalysis and the electric field work together for phenol degradation.
