In this paper, constructed rapid infiltration system is used for tailrace of pesticide wastewater treatment station; the wet-dry ratio, hydraulic loading, hydraulic loading cycle, organic load, filter thickness, ventilation, and C/N ratio are researched and analyzed to impact on the system performance. The experimental results show that:The removal of CODCr, ammonia and total nitrogen are the best and economically feasible when wet-dry ratio of 1:4, the maximum CODCr and TN removal rates reach to 48.9% and 37.08% respectively. With the increase of hydraulic loading cycle, the removal of ammonia nitrogen and CODCr were reduced, while the total nitrogen removal rate was increased. Changing the hydraulic loading is little effect to CODCr removal, but a great impact on the ammonia removal. When the hydraulic loading is more than 2.5m/d, it would result in the significant degradation of the efficiency of ammonia nitrogen, the increase of hydraulic loading can lead to being reduced of total nitrogen gradually removal. Increasing the organic load 0.06kg?COD/m3?d to 0.15kg?COD/m3?d, the system can maintain CODCr removal more than 40%. Filter thickness of 60cm can be better to remove CODCr in sewage, and the removal rate reaches to 49.33%, but the TN removal rate is very low, only 11.66%. The increase of C/N ratio can effectively improve the system TN removal efficiency. It not only gets a higher TN removal efficiency but also CODCr concentrations of effluent to discharge standard when the C/N ratio was increased to 6:1. Ventilator settings can improve the performance of CRI system, but it is not very useful.The ultraviolet spectrum shows that it has great changes of main pollutant structure on the treatment of CRI. Under the condition of anaerobic, the structure of nitrogen heterocyclic substances was broken by hydroxylation process of adjacent nitrogen atom, and it was degraded to CO2 and H2O at last...
