To the quenching and tempering stainless steel disk, This paper mainly studies the interruption turning technique of STAR-21C(P) flexible CNC turning machine. It is launched mainly from following aspects:1. Aimed at the characteristics of the brake disk, set down the suitable technique process. Aimed at physics and chemistry characteristics of the 2Cr13 quenching and tempering stainless steel disk, select the appropriate cutting tool material and the appropriate angle for this kind of cutting.2. Analyze the effects of the force, stress and strain to the cutting tool for different cutting angle and parameters, realize that the static stress is not the main cause to cutting tool breakage. Analyze the cause and the process of cutting tool abrasion,discuss the methods to decrease the tool abrasion, consider that lowering the cutting speed, using the coolant and cutting a appropriate groove in rack face can reduce the tool abrasion effectively.3. According to the insert cutting-in style of milling, bring forward the conception of insert cutting-in style of turning. Estimate 9 different kinds of insert cutting-in style formula of turning, transition path and impact factor, realize that the impact factor of cutting from the point is the lowest. Use the differential methods to analyze the change of impact factor to kinds of insert cutting-in style, think that the S-type,T-type,V-type are advisable.4. Using the ANSYS to analyze the stress change process at the moment of cutting-in, think that the frequent stress change is a important cause to the tool fatigue failure. Analyze the principle of minus shearing (F-type cutting chip) of the cutting-out process, from the point of reducing the torque, it is useful to take appropriate cutting-out style to avoid the minus shearing. Simplely analyze the principle of tool heat breakage and prevention methods. Do the anslysis and discussion of experimental program in the end.
