One dimension (1D) nanomaterials have received intensive interests and become the research frontier and hot topics in the world due to their novel and unique physical, chemical and biological properties as well as potential applications in nanodevices. In this thesis, the full investigations of structure control, surface modification and photoelectrochemical properties of one dimension structure of TiO2 fabricated on Ti substrate in suit have been carried out and obtained good achievement. In this thesis, the TiO2 nanowire and nanocone have been successfully fabricated in the atmosphere of acetone as the oxygen source by controlling the thermal temperature and concentration of acetone, and were analysized by SEM, TEM and XRD and so on. Consquently, the nanowire and nanocone arrays show good field emission properties. The TiO2 nanotube arrays with a columniform structure layer were obtained by anodizating directly on Ti substrate. The morphology and composition of nanotube arrays influenced by anodization voltages, time and crystal form have also been investigated via SEM and XRD, and further study have been made to investigate the properties of photoelectrochemical and photocatalysis activity. Then to enhance the separation efficiency of photoinduced electrons and holes and visible light sensitive, the composite structure of SrTiO3/TiO2 and CdS/TiO2 nanotube arrays have been successfully formed by a simple hydrothermal treatment. And the photodegradation ratio and the capability of antibacterials also can be successfully promoted by loading Ag nanoparticles via photoreduction on the inner surface of TiO2...
