With the development of petroleum industry, low-permeability oil field is becoming more and more important in oil production, to which many kinds of technology have been applied, with both advantages and disadvantages. This paper is to make a theoretical research on improving low-permeability reservoir with explosion techniques. This paper demonstrates the damage area and damage law of explosion shock wave on cement samples, which is very important, both theoretically and practically, for increasing oil production with explosion techniques.Through the numerical simulation, the model parameters of water in the simulation, the speed of shock wave in water and the shock wave pressure propagation law in water are found. Based on the constitutive equation of rock and the software ANSYS-LSDYNA, the constitutive equation applicable to cement sample, HJC model, is built. With the experiment and research results, the proper parameters for materials and algorithmic control are provided. The shock wave pressure propagation law in cement samples, the distribution of shear stress and effective stress, and the speed of shock wave in cement samples are all calculated through numerical simulation. With the damage data, the damage can be seen directly, the damage mechanism is analyzed, and the shear pressure damage area is provided. Based on the analysis of the damages caused by various dosages of explosive, the linear relation between shear pressure damage area and explosive dosage is built.
