The dynamic disasters in coal mines have always been the main difficult problems on rock mass mechanics and mine pressure. As one of the most serious dynamic phenomenon in mines, rock burst is still not solved from the theory to the practice completely. Stress concentration Caused by underground mining increases the risk of rock burst occurrence. The No. 14309 (west) fully-mechanized-face of Dongtan coal mine is in the high stress concentration area. Therefore it's very necessary to whether there is rock burst disasters, whether measures are needed and study on how to prevent and control.This paper based on theoretical analysis, analogies of experience and stress analysis method and so on to synthesize set 14309 (west) working face in coal block high stress area with medium burst risk. To use synthetic index method and RFPA software numeric simulation method showed when coal block size 10~30 meter connecting tunnel and rail trough, from weak to moderate degree burst danger. According to the working conditions, the application of medium diameter drillhole pressure measure, construction more convenient, flexible, and faster. The strict inspection measures of combining electromagnetic radiation instrument and drilling sludge methods are adopted, implemented a lot of testing work, and confirmed the impact of risk-free to ensure safety in production, indicating pressure relief the effect is obvious.Application of electromagnetic radiation instrument, the test index increased significantly when the working face went through the stop line of adjacent working face and the roadway intersection, description of these lots are burst or instability of the danger zone. The working face through NF21 faults, specialized technical measures are formulated and implemented, to make mining work to be carried out smoothly. Working face had stopped mining after the NF21 faults, working face to maintain good conditions for the withdrawal of, to avoid the burst risk, for other similar conditions of stop line leaving providing the basis for.Through the study of this paper, ensures safety for 14309 (west) working face passed tunnel intersection, stop line of adjacent working face in coal pillar of high stress area and NF21 faults, a large of coal is mined, greater social and economic benefits has been achieved.
