With the development of industrialization, the industrial waste lands around the city have worse influences on local environment and social development while wasting a large part of land resource.As a degenerated landscape, the ecosystem structure and function of the waste lands deteriorate badly. Owing to the deterioration of its entironment,the sustainable development of local society and economy was affected. Using theories and methods of restoration ecology and landscape restoration engineering, we did a research on ecological and landscape reconstruction of Xingxiang malm ore waste land,the particular landscape,in order to realize the practical guiding significance of the waste lands' sustainable development,scientific planning,development and reuse and full play of comprehensive benefit.(1) By prophase investigation and data collection based on situation map and topographic map of research area,remote sensing image,yearbook and other related statistical data,combining with relevant planning and regulations,we carried on the potential value analysis,SWOT and suitability for tourism development analysis for ecological and landscape reconstruction of Xinxiang malm ore waste lands.And we determine the target to reconstruction the research area as a model of ecological park aimed at restoring entironment,developing ecotourism,protecting industrial site and establishing ecological cycle.(2) Reconstructing landscape structure of the research area by the landscape pattern guidance of the combination of concentration and disconcentration. Through landscape ecological pattern analysis and land use suitability analysis, we divide the garden area into seven main function divisions, which are futher subdivided into twelve, namely, ecological protected area, landscape amusement area, ecological education area, ornamental and picking area, restaurant activity area, leisure vacation area, management area.(3) Instructed by the theory of landscape restoration engineering and restoration ecology while combining the function layout of the research area,we present that one is the vegetation restoration system of ore waste land:protection-water and soil conservation-cushion forests,protection-soil and water conservation-amusement and rest-biodiversity protective forests,ornament-recreation-education forest,recreation-leisure-ornamental fore- st, economy-ornament-leisure forest,ornament-recreation-education-biodiversity protection forest,the other is the technology and method of rebuilding the ecological and landscape of the garden area.(4) Evaluating the research area both the benefit of economic analysis and the ecosystem service functional value with the method of shadow engineering and substitute expense.And the value of ecosystem services is 16 548 162.14 yuan,15 634 800 yuan for regulation climatic,205 185.89 yuan for water conservation,103 948.7 yuan for environment purification,503 755.53 yuan carbon fixation and oxygen release, and 100 472.02 yuan for decreasing the noise.The reconstruction of industrial waste lands'ecological and landscape will improve the destructed land ecosystem,enhance the harmony and coordination of the whole natural ecosystem while whittling the negative influence of environment caused by pollution.The research on ecological and landscape reconstruction of Xinxiang malm ore waste land provide scientific basis for improving local environment,restoring vegetation and soil fertility,increasing species composition and biodiversity and restoring biocoenosis.
