Beading Accessories And The Art Form In Modern Jewelry Design

As one of the most ancient handicraft art forms, beading has a long history and is a good try and use of natural material in an earlier stage of human history. The breading accessories that passing from the ancestors shows a good combination of the hands and thoughts and is the crystal of the wisdom of human civilization. From ancient times until today, beading accessories has gone through the transition from being practical to being artistic, from single form to diversity. It becomes the very unique form of art in modern jewelry design.Modern jewelry design originates from the west. The designer expresses emotions through jewelry design. The creativity is largely generated and through which the spiritual experience of the designer can also be interpreted. In China, modern jewelry design is still an emerging field, which has not been greatly developed. Jewelry "design" is just a force from the outside taken by the handicraft man who only pays attention to craft techniques, without much thoughts. How to develop and improve the modern jewelry design to form authentic local styles, is still a difficult task lie in front of the Chinese designers.There are four parts of this thesis. The first part describes the historical development process of the beading accessories, analyzes its close relationship with social and cultural environment in history, and an important role it plays in ancient China. Through the analysis of the modern design world, the second part discusses the possibilities of how beading accessories will survive, namely, how to change and develop. The third part compares the existing conditions of the Chinese and western modern jewelry design, based on the tie between traditional beading and modern jewelry design. This part incorporates the author's design work to explore the way to integrate traditional beading accessories and modern jewelry design. The fourth part is the conclusion which summarizes the proposition and proposes some forward-looking ideas.Step by step, the article traces the history of the traditional beading accessories, sums up its flourish through times, analyzes the reason, and finally leads to how beading accessories evolves in modern design world and explores the links between the essence of the traditional beading accessories and the thoughts of modern jewelry design. Rather than the form of simple combinations and auspicious patterns, it is hoped to create the authentic local style beading accessories to meet the needs of modern customer groups and to provide larger space for the development of modern beading accessories.
